TIX released his new song “Hvis Jeg Forlot Verden”, which means “If I Left The World”. The song is composed by Andreas Haukeland, Dag Holtan-Hartwig and Halvor Folstad and it comes ahead of its new studio album.
TIX was born on April 12 1993, in Bærum, Norway. His real name is Andreas Andresen Haukeland.
His debut album was released in 2016 and reached the 2nd place on the Norwegian charts. He has composed music for established artists such as FLO RIDA and Ava Max. Since 2014, he has released a number of singles, most of with entered the local charts. In early 2021, he was among the pre-qualified acts of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 – the Norwegian national final. He won the national final beating the Eurovision’s fan-favourite KEiiNO.
Originally, he submitted the Norwegian version of his song “Ut av mørket” to the contest. Eventually, he participated and won in the final with the English version of the song “Fallen Angel”. The entry is composed by Andreas Haukeland, Emelie Hollow and Mathias Haukeland.
The Norwegian version topped the local charts, whilst the english version reached the second place.
TIX placed 18th in the final with 75 points.
