It’s official, Yerevan will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022!
A few days after Maléna’s victory at JESC 2021, it was announced that Armenia will host the next edition of the contest. Now, during a cabinet meeting of the Armenian government it was announced that Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia will host the contest and the country will fund part of the production. Moreover, it was announced that Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex will be the venue of the show, the same like the 2011 JESC.
Until today, nine countries have revealed their intentions to participated in the next Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Armenia, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Ireland, Poland, Russia, Spain and the Netherlands.
