This year France will be represented by Alvan & Ahez. Ahez is a French group that was formed in 2019 in Brittany, France. The group consists of three singers Marine Lavigne, Sterenn Diridollou and Sterenn Le Guillou.

The three singers met during High School and they formed the trio. In 2018, they took part in some Breton music festivals. In 2021, they met with Alvan and they soon collaborated.

Alvan was born on 17 March 1993, in Brittany, France. His real name is Alexis Morvan-Rosius and he is a singer and songwriter, who focuses on Electro music. In 2016, he released his debut single and EP. Since then he has released a number of songs.

Ahez and Alvan decided to compete in the French national final earlier this year. Their entry “Fulenn”, which means “Spark”, managed to win the show and thus they will represent France at Eurovision.

Their entry is composed by Marine Lavigne and Alexis Morvan Rosius. The song is entirely in Breton, that will be the second time a Breton song will represent France (the first time was in 1996).

The song is prequalified to the final, but the French fans will also be able to vote during the first semi-final.

What do you think about the song? Will France achieve its first victory since 1977? Write your thoughts in the comments below!
