ESC 2022: Sweden – Cornelia Jakobs Performed Symphonic Version Of “Hold Me Closer”!

Sweden this year will be represented in Eurovision by Cornelia Jakobs.

Cornelia this weekend perform during a charity concert for Ukraine. During that concert, she performed a symphonic version of her ESC entry “Hold Me Closer”. You can watch her performance below!

Cornelia Jakobs

Anna Cornelia Jakobsdotter Samuelsson or simply Cornelia Jakobs is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She was born on March 9, 1992, in Sweden. Her career started in 2008, when she competed in the Swedish version of Idol. She has in the past participated at Melodifestivalen as part of Love Generation both in 2011 and 2012. She remains part of the group, which now it is called “Stockholm Syndrome”. This year, she competed in the Swedish national final solo with the song “Hold Me Closer” and won. Now she is heading for the Eurovision crown!
