Serbia this year chose Konstrakta as its 2022 representative. Konstrakta was born on October 12, 1978, in Belgrade, Serbia. Her birth name is Ana Ignjatović, but she is known professionally as Konstrakta.

Her musical career started as part of the group Mistakemistake, but is known for being the lead singer of indie-pop band Zemlja gruva!. As part of this group, she released three studio albums between 2010 and 2016. The group also tried to represent their country in Eurovision by competing in Beovizija in 2008 and 2009.

In 2019, Konstrakta pursued a solo career and released her debut solo single. Earlier this year, she entered the Serbian national final with her song “In Corpore Sano”, which is a latin phrase meaning “In a Healthy Body”. The entry topped both the jury voting and public and thus she will represent Serbia at ESC 2022. In addition to her musical career, she is has studied architecture.

Her entry is composed by Ana Đurić and Milovan Bošković. It is noteworthy that the song topped the Croatian charts.

Serbia will perform 3rd in the second semifinal.
