Breaking news regarding the Israeli participation!

According to the public broadcaster, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is on strike for a couple of months. As a result, security protocols for the Eurovision delegation have been postponed, making the Israeli team unable to fly in Turin.

It is still unknown if the live on tape performance of Michael Ben David will be used instead or the country will withdraw. Like 2021, all the participating nations have to provide a live on tape performance of their entry in advance. In case a member of a team being infected with covid during the Eurovision week, the live on tape performance will be used instead.
