ESC 2022: Meet Andromache From Cyprus!

Cyprus selected Andromache as its 2022 Eurovision representative. Andromache Dimitropoulou or simply Andromache was born on October 12, 1994, in Siegen, Germany to greek parents.

At the age of 10 she moved to Greece with her parents, where she finished her school. After high school she studied German philology in Athens. In 2015, she decided to pursue a career as a singer. She managed to sing in different clubs, before auditioning for the second season of The Voice of Greece. At the show, she was eliminated during the second live.

Her placing at the show didn’t stop her from singing. She released her debut album in 2017 and she also signed with a record label. Today, she has managed to release a number of songs, all of which in Greek.

Earlier this year, she was internally selected to represent Cyprus at Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Ela”, which means “Come” in greek.

Her entry is composed by Alex Papaconstantinou, Arash, Eyelar Mirzazadeh , Fatjon Miftaraj, Filloreta Raci Fifi, George Papadopoulos, Robert Uhlmann, Viktor Svensson and Yll Limani.

The song will perform 9th in the second semifinal.
