Norway this year chose Subwoolfer as its 2022 representatives. Subwoolfer is a Norwegian pop duo that was formed in 2021. The name derives from the combination of the words “subwoofer” and “wolf”.

The duo is dressed like yellow wolves in suits and they haven’t revealed identities. The members are named Jim and Keith. The duo has presented a fictional story for their appearance:

They started their career 4.5 million years ago on Moon. They claim to be the most successful band in our galaxy.

Earlier this year, they entered the Norwegian national final, Melodie Grand Prix, with their song “Give That Wolf A Banana”. The song won the show and gained the right to represent Italy at ESC.

The entry is composed by Jim, Keith and DJ Astronaut. It is also noteworthy that the song reached the 4th place on the Norwegian charts.

Norway will perform 16th in the first semifinal.
