Lake Malawi and We Are Domi collaborated in their new single “High-Speed Kissing”. The song is composed by Albert Černý, Esben Svane and Gabi Knoll.

Lake Malawi

Lake Malawi was founded in 2013 by the guitarist and lead singer Albert Černý. Albert was born on 17th of February 1989 in Třinek, Czech Republic. In the band, there are one more member, Jeroným Šubrt who plays the bass. The name of the band was inspired by a Bon Iver song.

The band released their first single in 2014 and it was entitled “Always June”. In the same year, they opened Thirty Seconds To Mars’ concert in Prague. The next year they released their EP “We are making love again”. Their first studio album “Surrounded By Light” published in 2017.

The band focuses on an international audience, that’s why all of their songs are in English. In 2019, the represented Czech Republic at Eurovision. Their entry “Friend Of A Friend” placed 11th with 157 points.

We Are Domi

We Are Domi is the 2022 representatives of Czech Republic. Their song “Lights Off” won the national final in late 2021 and gained the right to represent the country in Italy.
