A couple of hours ago, the second day of rehearsals came to an end. The rest of 1st semifinal acts rehearsed at the PalaOlimpico, in Turin. In contrast to the previous years, all the 1st rehearsals are closed to the press. However, people can stay up to date through the official TikTok account of Eurovision.

Portugal 🇵🇹

The first act to take the stage today was Maro from Portugal. Her performance kept the same style as her national final. She still has the female backing singers surrounding her. She wears a white-black-purple “suit” while she is at the centre of the stage with a spotlight on her. During her performance, there is smoke in the background.

Mia Dišmić was next on stage. She changed a lot her performance; instead of a one male dancer, now she had three dancers – one female and two males. I think that is better in order to convey the message of her song. The dancers wear simply beige outfits, whilst Mia wears a total pink dress. Like her Dora appearance, she still plays the guitar.

Austria was next on stage. The two artists are in the middle of the stage with a circle of lights surrounding them. Both Lum!x and Pia Maria wear a black outfits with Pia Maria’s boots being red. During the performance, there are some pyros and smoke on stage.

Iceland 🇮🇸

Iceland’s singers had a country style with their boots and hats. They all held their guitars during their performance. It is noteworthy that the stage used a lot of yellow lights, but it’s normal after all their entry is titled “Með hækkandi sól”, which means “With the rising sun”.

Armenia 🇦🇲

Armenia was the last country to perform on stage today. During her performance, she used a big prop; a room full of post-it notes. Of course, she kept her guitar as part of her performance! She wears a total white outfit, which is the same colour as her guitar.
