A couple of hours ago, the third day of rehearsals came to an end. The first acts of 2nd semifinal rehearsed at the Pala Olimpico, in Turin. In contrast to the previous years, all the 1st rehearsals are closed to the press. However, people can stay up to date through the official TikTok account of Eurovision.
The first act to take the stage today was Jezebel from Finland. The colours of the staging were the same – black and yellow. Lauri Ylönen – the lead singer, at the beginning of the song, wore a yellow top, which he lost as the performance went on. On the stage, you could notice some big black balloons.
Michael Ben David was next on stage. Along with him on stage, there were four male dancers. Michael and three other performers wore white outfits, while the fourth dancer wore a black one.
Konstrakta from Serbia was the next entry to perform. The singer wore a white outfit, while the five performers that surrounded her wore black outfits and held a towel. The staging is similar to the national final one; Konstrakta still washed her hands during her performance.
Azeri entry took was the next act to perform on the stage. Nadir was accompanied by a male dancer. Both of them wore loose outfits with shades of grey. During the performance, they used a staircase as a prop.
Georgia’s entry was full of mystery but also energetic. The Georgian representatives were peculiar and unique outfits. The staging was full of colours and in the background, you could also notice colourful graphics.
Emma Muscat from Malta may change her song but she kept some things the same with MESC regarding her entry; she still began her song by playing the piano. In contrast with the national final, when she stood up, she was joined by four dancers. She wore a silver dress, while the other performers wore white outfits. The stage colours are mainly gold.
Achille Lauro’s staging is the epitome of a glam rock show. Pyros, a semi-naked cowboy, cages and an electric bull(!). Achille’s performance is eye-catching; the question is, can all props balance during the performance?
Sheldon Riley’s vocals are amazing! On the stage, there are two big stairs. Sheldon wears a white outfit with a long tail and many silver accessories. He also wears the face cover that also had in the national final. It is noteworthy that he is alone on the stage.
Andromache turns into Aphrodite during her performance. There is a huge shell at the centre of the stage. She wears a beige outfit and she is accompanied by two female dancers. Throughout her song, there are some projections on the shell.
That’s all the acts that performed on the Eurovision stage today. Tomorrow, the rest of the 2nd semifinal’s act – Ireland, North Macedonia, Estonia, Romania, Poland, Montenegro, Belgium, Sweden and the Czech Republic – will take their first rehearsal on Pala Olimpico.
