We continue the National Final Reminder of 2022 with something from Italy.

Italy selected its participant through Festival di Sanremo 2022. Twenty-five artists participated in the live final of the show.

The song “Ciao Ciao” was one of the 25 entries of the final, which was performed by La Rappresentante di Lista. At the end, the song, which is composed by Veronica Lucchesi, Dario Mangiaracina, Roberto Calabrese, Roberto Cammarata, Carmelo Drago and Simone Privitera, managed to place 7th.

La Rappresentante di Lista

La Rappresentante di Lista is an Italian pop rock duo that was formed in 2011 in Sicily, Italy. The duo consists of Veronica Lucchesi and Dario Mangiaracina. Their debut album was released in 2014 and until today, they have released three more albums – the most recent one in 2021 – and multiple singles.

The duo took part in both the 2021 and 2022 editions of Sanremo. In 2021, their song reached the 11th place, whilst in 2022 it reached the 7th place. It is noteworthy that their 2022 entry “Ciao Ciao” reached the 4th place of the Italian charts and was also charted in Switzerland.
