We conclude the National Final Reminder of 2022 with something from Spain.

Spain selected its participant through Benidorm Fest 2022. Eight artists participated in the live final of the show.

The song “Terra” was one of the 8 entries of the final, which was performed by Tanxugueiras. At the end, the song, which is composed by Olaia Maneiro Argibay, Sabela Maneiro Argibay, Aida Tarrío Torrado and Iago Pico Freire, managed to place 3rd.

Tanxugueira

Tanxugueiras is a trio that was formed in 2016. The trio consists of Aida Tarrío and twin sisters Olaia and Sabela Maneiro. All the artists are of Galician descent.

Throughout the years, they have released two studio albums – in 2018 and 2019. The most recent one was also charted in Spain. Earlier this year, they took part at Benidorm Fest, which was used as the Spanish national selection for Eurovision. At the festival they sang their song “Terra”, which won the demoscopic jury and the public voting, but placed 3rd. Nevertheless, the entry was peaked at the 7th place of the Spanish charts.
