
It’s official, Sam Ryder reached the 2nd place in the UK singles charts!
The official UK charts list has been released with the British representative of this years Eurovision reaching the 2nd place in the list. That’s the best place that any British Eurovision entry manage to achieve since 1996! It is noteworthy that five UK entries in the past had topped the charts, with Gina G. being the most recent one.
Sam Ryder was the British representative this year. His entry “Space Man” brought the UK back in the ESC game. The country had faced difficulties finding its way in the 21st century. Sam managed to top the jury voting and take the silver medal back to his country!
At the same list we also find this year’s Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra. The Ukrainian band, that won last Saturday the contest with “Stefania”, reached the 38th place in the charts.
It is noteworthy, that the at the Top-100 list there are more Eurovision entries like Norway (47), Spain (56) and Sweden (59). Moreover, Måneskin’s, last year’s Eurovision winners, new single “Supermodel” is at number 43!
