Yle, the Finnish national broadcaster, announced that Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu will return in 2023! According to a Tweet from the official Twitter account of UMK the submissions will open in early September. It is noteworthy, that the national final has been used 10 times in the past.
Finland this year selected The Rasmus and their song “Jezebel” to represent it in Eurovision. The entry qualified in the final, where it placed 21st with 38 points.
