Efendi released her new single “Being A Woman”. The song is composed by Fidan Aliyeva.

Efendi was selected to represent Azerbaijan in the 2020 version of the contest. After the cancellation of the contest due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Efendi was selected to sing for the country the following year. Her entry “Mata Hari” placed 20th with 65 points.
