Maro released her new EP “like we’re wired”. The extended play contains 4 songs, including her brand new release “like we’re wired”, which is composed by John Blanda and MARO.

MARO

MARO was born October 30, 1994, in Lisbon, Portugal. Her full name is Mariana Brito da Cruz Forjaz Secca, but is known simply as Maro.

Despite her initial thoughts on becoming a vet she decided to pursue a musical career. Therefore, she studied at Berklee College of Music. With a number of singles, one EP and five studio albums.

Earlier this year, she competed in the Portuguese national final, Festival da Canção, with her song “Saudade, Saudade” and won the show. The song was composed by MARO and John Blanda. It is noteworthy that the entry reached the 4th place at the Portuguese charts.

Portugal qualified to the final, where it managed to place 9th with 207 points.
