
Hatari released their new single “Dansið Eða Deyið”, which means “Dance Or Die”. The song is composed by Einar Hrafn Stefánsson, Klemens Hannigan and Matthías Haraldsson.

Hatari is a techno, punk-rock, anti-capitalism, BDSM group. Hatari consists of Klemens Nikulásson Hannigan, Matthías Tryggvi Haraldsson and Einar Hrafn Stefánsson. The group was formed in 2015 by Klemens and Matthías, whilst Einar joined later.
Klemens Nikulásson Hannigan was born in 1994 and is the clean vocalist. He has graduated from Tækniskólinn as a furniture maker. Matthías Tryggvi Haraldsson was born in 1994 and is the harsh vocalist. He is a journalist and writer. He graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts as a theatre and performance artist. Einar Hrafn Stefánsson is the drummer and producer. He is a musician, a producer and sound engineer. Einar has also played for other bands too.
In 2019, the band entered the Icelandic national final for Eurovision. After their victory at the national selection show they represented Iceland in Tel Aviv. Their song “Hatrið Mun Sigra” which means “Hate Will Prevail” reached the final, where it placed 10th with 232 points.
In addition to their singles, the grouped released its first EP in 2017 and its debut album in 2020.
