
Monika Liu released her new single “Bossa”. The song is composed by Miles James and Monika Liubinaitė.

Monika Liubinaitė, better known as Monika Liu, was born on February 9, 1988, in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
She comes from a musical family. As a child, she took ballet lessons and started playing the violin. A couple of years later, she began singing. After completing her musical studies in Lithuania, she moved to Boston in order to attend Berklee College of Music. In 2019, she became one of the jurors at The Voice of Lithuania and in 2021 at The Masked Singer Lithuania.
Today, she has released three studios album; in 2015, 2019 and 2020. In addition to her albums, she has also released a number of singles. Earlier this year, she competed in Pabandom Iš Naujo – the Lithuanian national final for ESC – and won. Thus she represented her nation at Eurovision.
Her entry “Sentimentai” was composed by herself and it was the first entry of the country since 1994 completely in Lithuanian. It is also noteworthy that the song topped the Lithuanian charts, whilst it placed 14th in the final with 128 points.
