Eurovision Young Musicians returned after a 4 year break!

Eurovision Young Musicians was originally scheduled to take place on June 21st, 2020, in Zagreb, Croatia. However, the contest was cancelled following the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The 20th edition of Eurovision Young Musicians was held on July 23rd, in Montpellier, France. Nine countries took part: France – the host country -, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Poland and Sweden. That makes the contest the smallest in participants since 1984.

The full results are not published only the top-3 entries. Alma Serafin Kraggerud from Norway got the 3rd place, Philipp Schupelius from Germany placed second, whilst Daniel Matejča from the Czech Republic won.

It is noteworthy that this event was the fourth Eurovision event that took place in France (Young Dancers 1989, 1999 and Junior Eurovision 2021).
