Bilal Hassani released his new song “Transfert Trottinette”. The song is composed by Bilal Hassani, Jean-Francois Perrier and Tanguy Destable.
Bilal was born on 9th September 1999, in Paris to Moroccan parents. He started singing at the age of five and shortly after he took singing lessons. He came to public attention by competing in the second season of the French edition of The Voice Kids. On the show, he managed to reach the battle rounds, where he was eliminated.
Bilal has also a very successful YouTube channel. He has more than 1 million subscribers and every video he uploads is watched by at least half a million viewers. He has covered many songs over the years like “Made For Now” by Janet Jackson and Eurovision related like “Rise Like A Phoenix” by Conchita Wurst – his The Voice Kids auditioned song.
In 2019, he entered the French national final for Eurovision, with the song “Roi”. The entry managed to and went to represent the country at the contest. The song was composed by the duo Madame Monsieur (France 2019). Bilal won with 200 points his national final Destination Eurovision.
France was prequalified at the Final, as being part of the Big 5, where it placed 16th with 105 points.
