Noa Kirel confirms participation at Eurovision!

A month ago, the next Israel representative for Eurovision was announced!

It came as a surprise, but Israel announced as early as July its next ESC representative! According to a tweet made by KAN – the Israeli public broadcaster – Noa Kirel was internally selected. However, after the announcement the artist revealed that she hadn’t yet decided if she would take part at the contest.

Now, the wait is over with Noa confirming her participation!

Noa Kirel is a young Israeli singer and songwriter that started her career in 2015. Today, she has released multiple singles and she has won 4 MTV Europe Awards for best Israeli artist.

That’s the first confirmed act of the upcoming Eurovision. Of course, Noa’s song hasn’t been released yet – that would be against ESC rule, because every competing entry can not be publicly available before September. The majority of artists released their entries somewhere between late February and early March.

Israel in Eurovision 2022

In 2022, Israel was represented by Michael Ben David and his song “I.M”. His song placed 13th with 61 points in the semifinal, therefore he didn’t qualify for the final.
