
Greece expressed its intention to participate in Eurovision and opened song s submissions!
ERT, the Greek public broadcaster, has expressed its intention to participate at Eurovision and has opened the submissions for the song. According to the press release the deadline for the submissions is up until October 9, 2022.
The same announcement defines the conditions for a song to be acceptable. In addition to the usual EBU standards – maximum 6 people, no song that have previously been released – ERT will not accept any song that have also been submitted in any other country’s Eurovision selection process. It noteworthy that every artist can propose up to three songs.
This year, Greece selected Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord with her song “Die Together”. The entry reached the final, where it placed 8th with 215 points.
