“Danse Avec Les Stars” premiered new season with Eurovision Stars among the contestants!

“Danse Avec Les Stars” is the French version of “Strictly Come Dancing”. The show premiered its 12th season last Friday on TF1.

Any Eurovision fan could recognise a number of familiar faces. Anggun, the French representative of 2012, competes in this season. We remind you, that the singer performed the song “Echo (You & I)”, which placed 23rd with 21 points. You can rewatch her performance below!

Another Eurovision related artist that competes on the dance show is Carla Lazzari. Carla was the 2019 French representative at the junior version of Eurovision. Her entry “Bit Bang Toi” placed 5th at the contest.

Except form these two contestants, a Eurovision star is in the jury panel. Bilal Hassani, the singer who sang for France in 2019, returns this year at the show as a judge. We remind you that last year, he was the runner-up of the competition.

It is noteworthy that his Eurovision entry “Roi” placed 16th in the final of the contest with 105 points.
