Strictly Come Dancing Latvia premiered its new season with Eurovision Stars among the contestants!

“Dejo ar zvaigzni!” is the Latvian version of “Strictly Come Dancing”. The show premiered its 5th season last night on TV3.

Any Eurovision fan could recognise a number of familiar faces. Aminata, the Latvian representative of 2015, competes in this season. We remind you, that the singer performed the song “Love Injected”, which placed 6th with 186 points. You can rewatch her performance below!

This year, she tried again to compete in Eurovision by entering Supernova – Latvian national final for ESC. Her entry, “I’m Letting You Go”, placed second, beaten by the Latvian group Citi Zēni!

Another Eurovision artist that competes in the Latvian show, is no other by the lead singer of Citi Zēni, Jānis Pētersons. As part of the band, he travelled to Turin, where he sang “Eat Your Salad”. Sadly, the entry didn’t make it to the final!
