More information about the upcoming Albanian national final!
The complete list of participants, who will take part in the Albanian national final, Festivali i Këngës, has been released. A total of 26 artists will enter the shows. According to RTSH, the Albanian public broadcaster, the jury will select the winner of Festivali i Këngës, as usual. However, the winner of the festival will not be the representative of the country at Eurovision. Despite the jury result, the artist with the more votes on the televoting will get the ticket for Liverpool.

Festivali i Këngës
Festivali i Këngës is an annual Albanian music festival that this year celebrates its 61st anniversary. The show had not connections with Eurovision prior to its 2003 edition, when it selected the representative of the country for 2004. Since then, Albania has never missed the contest and its year Festivali i Këngës has been used as its national final. It is noteworthy, that in 2015 only the artist was selected through the national selection.

It is still unknown the exact dates of the show, however, it is usually held around December.
Albania in 2022
Albania, in 2022, was represented by Ronela Hajati and her song “Sekret”. The uptempo song placed 12th with 58 points in its semifinal.
