
Omar Rudberg released his new single “Simon’s Song”. The single is composed by Edvin Nahlin, Lisa Ambjörn, Lisen Palmborg and Magnus Palmborg. The song is from the second season of the original Swedish Netflix series “Young Royals” (for more info scroll down), which is available for streaming today!
Omar Rudberg
Omar Josué Rudberg or simply Omar was born on November 12, 1998, in Venezuela. He is a singer, songwriter and actor. He moved to Sweden at the age of six. In 2010, he competed in the Swedish version of “Got Talent” and between 2013 and 2017 he was part of the boyband FO&O. The band competed in the 2017 Swedish national final – Melodifestivalen – and placed 11th in the final. After their participation, the band was disbanded and Omar pursued a solo career. In 2018, he released his first solo single and in 2019 he competed solo in Melodifestivalen being eliminated in his semi. His entry “Om, om ooh om igen” reached the 11th place on the Swedish charts. In 2021, he released an EP with covers and he also starred in the Netflix Original series “Young Royals”. Omar returned in Melodifestivalen this year. His entry “Moving Like That” didn’t manage to qualify for the final.
Young Royals
The series follows the life of fictional Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) and his romance with his fellow student Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg). You can watch the season 2 trailer bellow!
