SVT announced the names of the participants of the last two Heats of Melodifestivalen 2023! Check it out below!

Heat 3

• Paul Rey – Royals
• Nordman – Släpp Alla Sorger
• Laurell – Sober
• Casanovas – Så Kommer Känslorna Tillbaka

Heat 4

• Signe & Hjördis – Edelweiss
• Axel Schylström – Gorgeous
• Emil Henrohn – Mera Mera Mera
• Mariette – One Day
• Smash Into Pieces – Six Feet Under
• Tennessee Tears – Now I Know
• Loreen – Tattoo

Returns

As usual, a couple of artists return to the contest. Loreen, the Eurovision 2012 winner, is returning to the national final for her fourth participation (2011, 2012, 2017). Mariette will take part in Melodifestivalen for the fifth time since her debut in 2015 (2015, 2017, 2018, 2020). It is noteworthy that Mariette has always qualified direct to the final.

Paul Rey is returning as a singer to the contest for the third time after his 2020 and 2021 participations. Moreover, Axel Schylström will compete in Mello for the second time after his debut in 2017.

Melodifestivalen 2023

Melodifestivalen 2023 will be the 63rd edition of the Swedish national final. Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl will host the six shows. The first heat will kick off on February 4, whilst the final will take place on March 11.
