JESC 2022: And The Winner Is… Lissandro From France!

After an amazing evening and a spectacular show from all the 16 competing nations, we have our 2022 winner. France won the Junior Eurovision with a total of 203 points.

France debuted at the contest in 2004, placing 6th. The country didn’t return to the contest until 2018. Since then it has always placed in the TOP-5 and also winning in 2020! Valentina sang her song “J’imagine”.

This year, France was represented by Lissandro. The young artist sang the song “Oh Maman!”, a song composed by Frederic Chateau and Barbara Pravi.

Best – Worst Results

Portugal received 121 points and placed 8th, making it the best result of the country, 3 places up since last year. Ireland, also scored its best result receiving 150 points and reaching the 4th place. Kazakhstan placed in its worst place since its first participation at the contest.
