News about the Lithuanian national final!

The Lithuanian public broadcaster revealed the 30 candidates for its upcoming Eurovision national final a few days ago. Lina Štalytė and her song “My Body” has been disqualified from the competition, after it was found out that the song was already available on YouTube since 2020. According to Eurovision rules, no song can compete if it was released prior to September 1, 2022. Lina’s spot on the semifinal was replaced by The PiXLES and the song “Šaukt”. Pabandom Iš Naujo 2023

The Lithuanian national final is returning for the fourth time under this format. It will consist of two Heats, two Semifinals and one Final , starting on January 21!
