An update about the Moldovan national final!

Moldova will select its entry for Eurovision through a national final. From the 60 songs, which were submitted to the public broadcaster, 33 made it to the live auditions. These 33 songs will be presented to the public on January 28 at 13:00 CET. On the same day, a jury will select the 10 entries that will proceed to the final of the show. The final is scheduled at late February. The winner will be determinated by a combination of jury and public voting.

However, 2 entries have been disqualified from the run. “Squeeze Paradise” by NÖRDIKA and Massimo Sinceri and DA-MUSE. The first entry it was discovered that was published online in early 2012, a decade ago than the rules of Eurovision specify. Massimo Sinceri and DA-MUSE are breaching the rules of the national final. According to the rules, in a group at least 50% of the members must have a Moldovan citizenship, which is not the case on the given act.
