SuRie released her new single “When It All Goes Quiet”. The song is composed by Susanna Cork (SuRie).
Susanna Marie Cork, a.k.a. SuRie was born in the 18th of February 1989. She studied music from a young age and started composing at the age of 12.
In 2018, she participated in UK’s national final and won it with the song “Storm”. She represented her country at Eurovision and despite her 24th placing she proved that she can perform under difficult circumstances, continuing to sing after a stage invasion. As her Eurovision entry says:
“Give all you gotSuRie – “Storm”
Hold your head up
Don’t give up, no, no
Hey, hey brother don’t give up”
Before her own experience at the contest, she has been a backing vocalist and dancer for Belgium in 2015 and a musical director again for Belgium in 2017.
Her third studio album is due May 14.
