Romania this year chose Theodor Andrei as its 2023 representative. Theodor was born on October 9, 2004, in Bucharest, Romania.

He started his career in 2017 when he competed in the Romanian version of The Voice Kids. At the music show, he managed to reach the semifinal. A few years later, he competed in his country’s The X-Factor but didn’t make it to the lives.

Since 2017, he has released several singles. In late 2022, he released his debut album, which is titled “Fragil”.

Earlier this year, he entered the Romanian national selection, “Selecția Națională”. His entry, “D.G.T. (Off and On)”, managed to win the show, thus gaining the right to represent Romanian in Eurovision. The song was composed by Luca De Mezzo, Luca Ştefan Udăţeanu, Mikail Jahed and Theodor-Octavian Andrei.

Romania will perform 2nd in the second semifinal.
