
This year Finland selected Käärijä as its Eurovision representative. Jere Pöyhönen, a.k.a. Käärijä, was born on October 21, 1993, in Helsinki, Finland.
The Finnish singer and songwriter began his career in 2014 when he released his debut single. His first EP was released in 2018, whilst his debut album came out in 2020 and entered the Finnish charts.
Earlier this year, the artist entered the Finnish national final, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, with his song “Cha Cha Cha”. The entry was composed by Aleksi Nurmi, Jere Pöyhönen and Johannes Naukkarinen and won the national selection.
The song has already entered the charts of three countries, topping the local ones.
The song will close the first semifinal!
