ESC 2023: Meet Albina From Albania!

This year, Albania chose Albina & Familja Kelmendi as its representatives. The act consists of the Kelmendi family: Alban, Albina, Albana, Bujar, Sidorela and Vesa.

Albina Kelmendi was born on January 27, 1998 in Pejë. Growing up in a musical family, she began to study clarinet and piano. In 2014, she entered the Albanian version of The Voice. At the show, she managed to place 2nd, thus rosing to fame in her country.

In 2022, she released her debut album. By the end of the same year, she entered the Albanian music festival “Festivali i Këngës”, along with her family. At the competition, they placed 2nd, but won the public voting and the right to represent their country at Eurovision.

Their entry “Duje”, which means “Love it “, was composed by Enis Mullaj and Eriona Rushiti.

Albania will perform 14th in the second semifinal!
