ESC 2023: Meet Tvorchi From Ukraine!

This year Ukraine selected Tvorchi as its Eurovision representatives. Tvorchi is an electronic music duo that was formed in 2017 in Ternopil, Ukraine.

The duo consists of Andrii Hutsuliak and Jimoh Augustus Kehinde. Andrii Viktorovych Hutsuliak was born on February 21, 1996, in Ternopil, Ukraine and Jimoh Augustus Kehinde was born on September 30, 1997, in Nigeria. The two artists met, while they studied at the Pharmacy faculty of Ternopil National Medical University.

Their debut single was released in 2017, whilst their debut album came out a year later. Today, they have released 4 studio albums, the most recent one in 2020.

In 2020, the two artists took part at the Ukrainian national final with their song “Bonfire”. At the show, they placed 4th in the final. Earlier this year, they returned at the show and this time won it. Their entry, “Heart of Steel”, was composed by Jimoh Augustus Kehinde and Andrii Hutsuliak.

Ukraine is prequalified for the final, but Ukrainians will be able to vote during the second semifinal. It is noteworthy that Ukraine will perform 19th in the final.
