Slovenia this year chose Ana Soklič as its 2021 representative. Ana was born on April 10, 1984, in Savica, Slovenia.

She started her musical career in 2004 under the stage name Diona Dim; which later became a project including more artists. In 2012 she competed in the first season of the Slovenian version of X-Factor. At the show, she managed to place at the fifth show. When she was part of the Diona Dim she took part a couple of times part of the Slovenian national final for Eurovision. In 2020, she tried solo and won it. Her 2020 song “Voda” was was composed by Ana Soklič and Bojan Simončič. Ana was announced as the 2021 representative of Slovenia, after the cancellation of the contest.

Her entry “Amen” is composed by Ana Soklič, Žiga Pirnat and Bojan Simončič. The lyrics were written by Charlie Mason, Ana Soklič and Žiga Pirnat.

Slovenia is going to compete 2nd in the first semifinal.
