ESCxPride: Happy Pride Month!

Today Pride month begins and we want to celebrate with you. Therefore, here is a collection with the 3 most LGBTQI+ friendly songs of ESC 2023!

ITALY

Marco Mengoni returned this year to the contest with a sentimental ballad. His song “Due Vite” captivated the audience and the song reached the 4th place in the final with 350 points. During his performance, there were two male dancers, who created an even special atmosphere for us with their trampoline.

FINLAND

Käärijä from Finland performed in a very unique way his song “Cha Cha Cha”. The audience loved it and gave him the 1st place in the televoting, before placing 2nd after all. Despite his exceptional dancing moves, one of the most eye-catching moments of his show was the rainbow colours at the last part of his entry.

BELGIUM

There are many reasons to love Gustaph’s entry in the contest; his unique hats, the voguing during his performance and of course the lyrics of the song itself. So let’s keep his words and his energy in mind “‘Cause life is too short and we sure got to celebrate”!

We should always remember that music is a way of expression and must remain a safe space for everyone.
