
Iru released her new single “Seen”. The song is her first after Eurovision and is composed by Giorgi Kukhianidze.

Irina Khechanovi, better known as simply Iru, was born on December 3, 2000, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
From a young age, she competed in various singing competition. In 2011, she represented Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as part of the girl group CANDY. Their entry Candy Music won the contest, making it the second victory of the country at the contest. A few years later, she took part in the Georgian Idol, but didn’t make it to the live shows. In 2022, she competed in the Georgian version of The Voice, where she won, thus gaining the right to represent her country at Eurovision.
Her Eurovision entry “Echo” was composed by Giorgi Kukhianidze, Beni Kadagidze and Iru Khechanovi. The song didn’t qualify to the final, placing 12th in the semifinal with 33 point.
