Alessandra released her new single “Heavy”. The song is composed by Alessandra Mele, Elizabeth Makris, James Birt, Josh McClelland, Kella Armitage and Ludwig Gassner.

Alessandra Mele, or simply Alessandra, was born on September 5, 2002, in Savona, Italy. She is of Italian and Norwegian descent.
She lived in Italy until 2021, when she graduated from High School and moved to Norway. She currently studies at the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries. Last year, she competed in the Norwegian version of The Voice. Alessandra managed to reach the live-shows, where she was eliminated in the first live.
Earlier this year, she competed in the Norwegian national final for Eurovision, “Melodi Grand Prix”. At the show, she qualified from the first semifinal and managed to win the show. Her entry “Queen of Kings” is composed by Henning Olerud, Stanley Ferdinandez, Alessandra Mele and Linda Dale.
It is noteworthy that the song entered the charts of plenty of European countries, including Norway, where the it reached 1st place and the UK, making it to the TOP-10.
At Eurovision, she placed 5th in the final with 268 points.
