Denmark this year chose Saba as its representative. Saba was born on August 11, 1997 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her full name is Anna Saba Lykke Oehlenschlæger, but she is known professionally simply as Saba. She and her sister were adopted in Denmark, where they grew up.

She started her career as a model, but she has also worked as an actress. Earlier this year, she entered the Danish national final, “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix”. She won the show, thus gaining the right to represent her country at Eurovision.

Her entry, “Sand”, was composed by Jonas Thander, Melanie Wehbe and Pil Kalinka Nygaard Jeppesen. The entry has already managed to enter the Danish charts.

Denmark will perform 7th in the second semifinal!
