ESC 2024: Meet Slimane From France!

This year, France selected Slimane as its representative. Slimane Nebchi, known professionally as simply Slimane, was born in October 13, 1989, in Chelles, France, and he is of Algerian descent.

Between 2009 and 2012, he competed in a variety of French talent shows. In 2016, he competed in the French version of The Voice, where he won. His victory boosted his career, resulting 4 studio albums, all of which becoming successful not only in France, and many singles.

It is noteworthy that he had been the judge in the French-speaking version of The Voice of Belgium.

He was internally selected to represent his country at Eurovision. His entry, “Mon Amour”, was composed by Slimane Nebchi, Yaacov Salah and Meïr Salah.

The song is prequalified to the final, but the French fans will also be able to vote during the second semi-final!
