We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2018. Today, we will travel to Germany.

Germany back in 2018 decided its representative through Unser Lied für Lissabon, a show similar with the one in use today. That year 6 songs competed to the final.

The song “House on Fire” was one of those six songs. The song managed to finish 4th with a difference of 14 points from the first placer “You Let Me Walk Alone”. The song was composed by Jörgen Elofsson and Ali Tamposi.

Ivy Quainoo

Ivy Quainoo was born in 25th of August 1992, in Berlin Germany. Her parents were from Ghana. In 2012, she participated in the German version of The Voice, where she was the ultimate winner. On the same year, she released her first single, which became a hit in germany. In 2016, she made small cameo in the film “Captain America: Civil War”.
