We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2017. Today, we will travel to Norway.

Norway back in 2017 decided its representative through “Melodi Grande Prix”, as usual. Ten entries competed in the final of the national selection.

The song “Places” was one of those 10 entries performed by Ulrikke. The song qualified at the gold final of the show, where it placed 4th.

Ulrikke was born on 13 July 1995, in Sarpsborg, Norway. Her full name is Ulrikke Brandstorp. Her first public appearance was in 2013 she auditioned for the Norwegian edition of the Idol. In 2020, she won the Norwegian national final with her song “Attention”. Later on that year, she won the first season of the Norwegian version of The Masked Singer. In 2021, she released her latest single “Falling Apart”.
