EBU released an update statement over Måneskin’s Green Room event.

Speculations of Måneskin’s Damiano (lead singer) taking cocaine during the voting in the green room have risen in the media. Without any evidence, people started spreading the news due to a segment of the televised show where Damiano bend over.

EBU Regarding The Event

Yesterday, EBU released a statement saying that indeed they found broken glass on Måneskin’s green room space, but they cannot organise a drug test on such short notice.

Today, an update came from the European Broadcasting Union. Damiano’s drug test results come back negative.

No drug use took place in the Green Room and we consider the matter closed.
