Mark your calendars! Benidorm Fest 2024’s dates have been announced!

It has been already announced that Benidorm Fest will return in 2024 as the Spanish national final for Eurovision. The music festival will consist once again by three shows – 2 semifinals and a final. The first semi is scheduled for January 30, the second for February 1, whilst the final for February 3.

Benidorm Fest

Benidorm Fest was originally based on Festival Español de la Canción de Benidorm, which was broadcasted between 1958 and 2006. The show returned in 2022 with three show and 13 contestants, who tried to gain the right to represent Spain at Eurovision. The show, it is not only responsible for finding the next Spanish representative, but also to promote and celebrate the Spanish music. The original agreement between RTVE and the Valencian Community will run the show at least until 2026.

Spain In Eurovision 2023

Earlier this year, Blanca Paloma won Benidorm Fest and represented her country in Eurovision. Her song “Eaea” placed 17th with 100 points.
