The semifinal of Eesti Laul 2024 was held tonight
A total of 215 songs were received (2 less than last year) and a jury selected the 20 songs that will appear on the show. This year, Eesti Laul will consist of one semifinal and a final. The semifinal took place, whilst the final on February 17.
Five of the twenty artists are prequalified to the final, whilst the remaining 5 were selected through tonight’s show. The qualified artists are in BOLD.
The 15 participants are:
- 5miinust & Puuluup – “(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
- Inga – “No Dog On a Leash”
- Ollie – “My Friend”
- Yonna – “I Don’t Know About You”
- Peter Põder – “Korra veel”
- Cartoon & Ewert Sundja – “Oblivion”
- Traffic – “Wunderbar”
- Ingmar – “Dreaming”
- Anet Vaikmaa – “Serotoniin”
- Laura – “Here’s Where I Draw the Line”
- Sofia Rubina – “Be Good”
- Antsud – “Vetevaim”
- Silver Jusilo – “Lately”
- Cecilia – “FOMO”
- Ewert and the Two Dragons – “Hold Me Now”
5miinust & Puuluup, Ollie and Ewert and the Two Dragons qualified from the 1st round of the voting, while Peter Põder and Anet Vaikmaa from the 2nd one.
These artists will join the finalists in the final of the national selection on February 17th. The pre-qualified acts are:
- Brother Apollo – “Bad Boy”
- Carlos Ukareda – “Never Growing Up”
- Daniel Levi –”Over the Moon”
- Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – “Käte ümber jää”
- Uudo Sepp y Sarah Murray – “Still Love”
