Cyprus selected Silia Kapsis as its 2024 Eurovision representative. Silia was born on December 5, 2006, in Sydney, Australia to Greek-Cypriot parents.

Growing up to a musical environment – her father is musician – she started exploring music from a young age. Her debut single was released in 2022, following three singles in 2023. In addition to her music career, she is a singer and an actress.

Cyprus internally selected her for the contest. Her song, “Liar”, was composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Elke Tiel.

The song will open the first semifinal!
