Moldova this year chose Natalia Barbu as its 2024 representative. Natalia was born on August 22, 1979, in Bălți, Moldova.

Her career started in 2001, when she released her first music. In 2007 she represented Moldova at Eurovision with her song “Fight”. The song qualified for the final of the contest from the most difficult semifinal of the history of the contest – from 28 acts, only 10 qualified. After all, Natalia managed to place 10th in the final of Eurovision.

After her participation, she released more music. In 2013, she tried to represent Romania, where she currently lives, at Eurovision, entering the national final.

Earlier this year, she entered the Moldovan national final again. Natalia managed to win the show, gaining the right to represent her country at the contest.

Her entry, “In the Middle”, was composed by Khris Richards and Natalia Barbu.

Moldova will perform 11th in the first semifinal!
