The Netherlands this year chose Joost Klein as its Eurovision representative. Joost Klein was born on November 10, 1996, in Friesland, the Netherlands.

He begin his career as a YouTuber. In 2016, he released his debut studio album. Today, he has a rich discography with 8 studio albums, one EP and many singles. The majority of his studio albums have entered both the Dutch and the Belgian charts. His most successful single to day is “Friesenjung”, which topped the Austrian and German charts and also entered the ones of the Netherlands, Sweden, Lithuania and Switzerland.

In late 2023, ti was announced that he was internally selected to represent the Netherlands at Eurovision.

Earlier this year, he released his Eurovision entry, “Europapa”, which was composed by Joost Klein, Donny Ellerström, Paul Elstak, Teun de Kruif, Thijmen Melissant, Tim Haars and Dylan van Dael.

The Netherlands will close (16th) the second semifinal!
